Poppy just made an appearance in the house, much to my utter disbelief and utter relief. She's a very nervous kitty and formerly rescued 1 yr ago. It's a possibility a fire work may have gone off localy whilst I was out. she is really terrified of them especially as Houghton festival is due to start on the 30th. This is possibly the reason poppy has well hid herself for many hours. She is due a health check at the vets on 1st October apart of her vac boosters. I will discuss this behaviour with poppys vet. I did thoroughly search the house several times and called her and put her meal out. Poppy has never hid herself for this length of time before. But thank you for the help this site offers. I've never lost or mislaid a pet before so wasn't which sites to go to.
