Location:	Barrack Road, Hounslow TW4 6AW, UK
Health:	Healthy
Age:	4 years old (approx)
Sex:	Neutered Male
Collar:	No
Microchipped:	Yes
Markings:	White fur right under his neck, every where else is black and grey tabby
Circumstances:	He usually goes outside and comes home during the day/evening to eat and comes home again at night but he hasn’t came since 14th. He didn’t come at all to have his lunch or dinner. He was recently microchipped on his right hand so his fur is almost grown fully on that arm.
Other info:	Responds to Haru usually but when he’s hungry he will respond to “mama” for food. Been missing for 3 days now. He’s a smart boy and usually comes home within the same day he goes out!!

Sorry your cat is lost. Usually a microchip is inserted into the neck area. Why did they put it in his foot? Have you contacted the microchip database to report as lost and check your details are correct? Make sure it is a DEFRA approved database some of the Google ones are scams sadly.

Hi there! So so sorry for my late reply! That’s completely my bad, I was mistaken about the microchip being on his arm, it was actually because he was also neutered so that’s where they gave him the anaesthetic. Regardless, he is microchipped! We went to pets at home in feltham so I’m pretty sure they’re reliable and not a scam but by how I stated things probably made it sound dodgy indeed. Thank you for being concerned!! Sadly Haru hasn’t came back and we’ve put up posters around the neighbourhood aswell as asking online. It’s just such a terrible feeling to have knowing if he’s okay or not. I really hope someone finds him or he makes his way home soon!!

Sorry you wrote Arm not foot... but why would the fur need to grow back? Who chipped him for you?

Sorry was typing and got a phone call. I was going to suggest you call the microchip database and report Haru as lost and it stops anyone from being able to change the chip. Some of the databases are a bit lax. There is a Facebook group for London might be worth posting on https://www.facebook.com/groups/819460064836746/?ref=share I will keep an eye out too.

We got a call from Animal Rescue Care in Twickenham! A couple is fostering Haru in Richmond and I’m going to collect him today! (23/04) Thank you to everyone for being so helpful!
