Name: Unknown
Breed & Species: Unknown rabbit
Colour: Grey

Found: 6 years ago
(17 June 2018 at around 00:00hrs)
Location: Lyndhurst Road, Hove BN3 6FB, UK
Health: Healthy
Age:
Sex: Unknown
Collar: No
Microchipped: Not sure
Markings: looks like a rabbit, quite small and sweet looking, no distinct markings. I don't know anything about rabbits, I think it might be young but don't know.
Circumstances: I suspect was brought in by my cat. Rabbit hiding so locked cat in another room and coached it out of my bedroom into the garden. Thought it was a wild rabbit at first but seems far too friendly and tame plus seems to be staying in the garden rather than escaping. So keeping cat in until I can find the owner of the rabbit and make sure it's safe.
Other info: Was very frightened at first (brought in by my cat) but now lolloping about the garden munching rose petals and some of my weeds. Seems too tame to be wild.

Taken to vets who monitored for a while and don't think it's a pet - they think it's a wild rabbit so they said they would monitor and release into the wild. They were going to phone me to let me know the outcome, and I asked them again, but haven't yet heard so I assume that she'd been released back into the wild ok.
