Circumstances: This cat keeps appearing at the French doors where we have a car flap. It didn’t come in at it’s but after a while it did despite me having 3 other cats who were not happy at him being there.
Other info: This is a friendly cat who likes to be cuddled and has been coming in my house for the past 5 days even though I have 3 cats who are scared of him

How strange! Please confirm: You have had a vet check for a microchip and they didn’t find one?

Yes we took the cat to check and there was no microchip so we were unable to locate the owners this way. I had put up

I had put up some posters locally and the owners contacted me and came to confirm it was their cat.

Thank you for confirming. Yes, our cat’s microchip was verified by a vet two days before he disappeared, so we expect it is still working.
