Nearly 2 weeks have passed, this cat is still coming around. He is still very skinny but his coat looks fine; he sometimes will take dry food (eating a lot at a time), other times he just comes around then leaves, not seeking anything. I think other people might be feeding him too.

I haven't seen him in the last 3-4 days, maybe he's gone back to his home? I've not been contacted by his owners, having posted here and on other sites.

Has anyone claimed this cat? He used to come into my garden too.

Hello I'm Freddie's owner. We were reunited with him the next day. He isn't allowed out now so you won't see him. Poor Freddie is almost blind which is how he got lost. Thanks for Asking.

Hi I just saw this! Ok thank you, we also thought that there was something with his eyesight from the way he ate the dry food. Somebody else has just posted that they've seen him in Windermere Avenue? If I see him in our garden again I will let you know, wonder if you would like to let me have some contact details by private message so I can let you know straight away if he turns up here.

Also - are you by any chance the same person who posted about a black cat lost a while ago, then found? On this report: https://www.petsreunited.com/kenton/brent/lost/cats/lost-black-male-cat/jtogioeg if so I just wanted to say, I think our black cat is your cat's son!! Can tell you more on private message.

No, no one has contacted me - another neighbour opposite me also let me know that she was seeing and feeding this cat. He has stopped coming around in the last two weeks or so, haven't seen him since. I hope he has found his way back!

Just saw him on Windermere Avenue. I asked a resident there but they didn't know who.owned him.

Thank you for that! Just seen another post up from the owner explaining that they were reunited. I hope he makes his way back again, but if he doesn't then it's good to know that a bunch of us will look after him and try to return him to his owner.

Oops! I think I got confused and replied to my own post. I lost a black cat called Freddie but we found him. The cat you found, is the cat that I saw this evening on Windermere Avenue. I think he is a stray.
