Circumstances:	He has been observed on the local street for a number of months now by my neighbours but in the past month or so he has been coming into my house (via my cat flap) eating my cats food and sometimes sleeping in my lounge overnight

He disappeared in 2020, so probably isn’t, black cats seem to look alike, I live in Leigh wn7

Hi Debs, I believe he has been hanging around for a while, I have to confess I thought it was my neighbours so I hadn’t persuade the issue as he had been coming in and out of my house for a few months now, when I found out at the weekend that it wasn’t hers I thought I’d investigate further, any idea why he went missing? I’ll see if I can catch him later and ask my vet if they can scan him? and I’ll let you know

Hi Debs, Just thought I’d update you on the cat I found, I managed to take him to the vet and get him scanned, they think he is about 4-5 years old. But is not microchipped which suggests unfortunately it’s not your cat. I do hope you find him. Regards Rob

Hi. Do you have any more info about him? We had a stray/feral young cat that grew up here but never fully moved in (our cat & him just learned to tolerate each other). He became our outside cat (& cold nights he'd choose inside). We named him Linguini, but he's not chipped because we just got him to being handled and Covid hit. He seemed settle for a couple years (would wonder off occasionally) but disappeared around Spring 2022. Looked for him vets etc but we're St Helens not in Leigh! Would love to check if it's him, and if he has a home that's great but if not we'd love the him back. It's a shot in the dark but any info would be appreciated! Thanks.
