Hi there, my husband and I have been out at all hours, early morning, late at night, mid-afternoon! We have leafletted over 600 houses in the area and put dozens of posters up, shaken treats, looked in back gardens, left her litter tray outside, hung our worn clothes up in the garden. Everything we can think of but still no luck.

I am worried about her being stuck in a shed though. There are so many in our area and not everyone is keen to let us into their house and garden to take a look. We will keep trying though!

That is so kind of you, Nicola. Unfortunately quite a few of my posters seem to have been taken down, but I have now put a leaflet through every single letterbox on the whole of the Barclay estate. Nearly 1000 houses I think! but very sadly, we are coming to the realisation that she's not coming back to us. There are so many missing cats in our area, I think someone is taking them. I need to grieve and try to move on. I thank everyone for their love and support. This last month has been so hard but I just need to stop feeling so sad all the time, it's not good for me or my family. I hope you all have a lovely Christmas. Much love xxx

By the way, I got your answerphone message this morning. I didn't get a missed all though which is strange so I don't have your number. I couldn't hear which road you said you had seen a black cat. I've had a few calls recently but it's never our Lil as there are so many black and white cats around here. I've also had prank calls saying they have my cat in their freezer. Some people are so sick. Thank you for all your help though. Hugely appreciated xx

Feel that it is unlikely she will return now. She was only 9 months old and if she is outside, the weather suggests she would not have survived. The most likely outcome though is that someone else has got her and will probably keep her.
