LOST
Smaug
Name: Smaug
Breed & Species: Domestic short-haired cat
Colour: Black and white
SimpleColour:
Went missing: 3 years ago
(31 January 2021 at around 12:00hrs)
Location: Hitcham Road, London E17 8HL, UK
Health: Injured or unwell
Age: 13 years old
Sex: Neutered Male
Collar: No
Microchipped: Yes
Markings: He has some bald patches near the base of his tail from overgrooming.
Circumstances: Smaug was last seen in the street outside our house. He is often out there during the day if the weather is nice enough. He normally wears a red collar with name tag on it, however on the morning of the 31st he came into the house without his collar, which we noticed, but with out time to get a new one, we let him out again without it that day. We went out around 12pm, which was the last time we saw him. We think that perhaps as he had lost his collar, he was mistaken for a friendly stray and taken into someones house nearby. Smaug is currently on medication for a skin condition, which has caused him to over-groom himself. It is vital that we keep up his course or he will become sick again.

He reappeared smelling of cigarettes and perfume, but otherwise well. He must have been stuck in someones house who thought that they were rescuing him, and perhaps they let him out after seeing our posters. Very happy to have him back with us.
