I don't want to give you false hope as it has been some time since your cat went missing, but I sometimes see a cat that looks a lot like Cara around Woodrow Road/The Friars. I do hope this helps.

Wouldn’t it be amazing if it was🤞🏻Is there any chance of a photo from a distance or whatever. I will try and arrange for posters to be put up in area, its been so long she could be anywhere.

Thank you, anything to know she’s fine. She was a stray at Lacock Abbey where my son worked. He took her to a charity as Lacock had no one to look after her but sadly she

Was lost from the vets by the charity. I would hate to think no one cared she was missing, just to know she safe would be great. She is chipped so a scan would confirm

Which vet did she go missing from? Are you the owner who signed her over to the charity or are you the charity? If/when I see the cat again I will try to get a photo.

No i’m not the charity, my son worked at Lacock and he had started looking after her when he worked there, took her to the vet for checks and chipping so she is chipped to him. He has changed jobs and lives in Hampshire, he has two rescues already so was unable to take another. Lacock had no one to care for her so he had to take her to a local rescue, she was fostered and doing well when she was lost out the basket on a vet visit. My son spent many weeks hunting over the local fields etc , posters but to no avail. Neither of us live in the area now so just want to know she is safe. Just hoping someone has taken her in and just not checked her chip. I will have to ask my son which vet and the charity as he arranged it. Thank you for caring😀

Where were the sightings in June 2019? If I knew which vets she escaped from and where she's been seen before, it might suggest whether it is or isn't Cara I've been seeing.

Have just spoken to my son she was on the way for check up with a vet in Melksham but she got out of her cage in the car and they pulled over on Spa Road which at the time was fields. This is when she escaped and there were several sightings and the Charity put traps down but nothing apart from a badger were caught. Evidently there are new houses there now and no farm left.

That's the other side of town as you probably know so the chances of the cat I've seen being her are slim. However, I will look out for this local cat and post a photo or give further information if I have it. I'm sorry to have got your hopes up and very sorry that you lost Cara, it must be very painful for you and your son. Perhaps posters on Spa Road would help? All the best.
