Circumstances: It's always near the same building entrance. I've never really paid attention to it as I thought its owner lived there. But it has no collar, is getting increasingly skinny and both eyes seem infected.
Other info: black with brown/red-ish hints

Can you get some someone to find out if it is chipped, most local vets or rescue centres have chipp readers. If its getting increasingly skinney, then it may very well be lost or abandonedd

I know... but unfortunately I can't. I don't drive, and (as I never had a pet) I don't own a box to transport it - nor any equipment to take care of it, even temporarily :(

HI, If you contact a local rescue they will probably have someone who can come and check to see if there is a chip. Please do that as otherwise it is really hard to identify fully black cats, and as my one got lost when he was 10months old, Im not even sure that I would recognise him appart from his chip.s old
