Happily we have adopted this lovely girl.We took her to the vets to find out if she was chipped. She was not so I called all the vets and cat rescue centres,put her on radio Cornwall and knocked on doors and posted pictures on lamposts.After 6 weeks of research I found where she came from and that she was no longer wanted.A Polish family returned to Poland in June and left her behind in the garden of their rented home in Newquay.This was about 1/4 mile from our house.The new tenants took no notice of her meowing and eventually she turned up at our door.After finding her background we couldn't abandon her as she is such an affectionate cat.We love her and she seems to love us.xx

After much research and local investigation I found that this little cat had been abandoned by a family returning to Poland. After caring for her since September when she turned up on our doorstep scared and hungry we have grown very attached to her.We have now had her chipped and started on her injection s at the vets.She is very affectionate and a joy to live with.We have called her Tegan( cornish for pretty).The story has a happy ending.
