Markings:	too dark to get answers to some of questions
Circumstances:	cat seemed hungry scouring round hedge for any litter/food scraps but didnt look like a stray at all as in good cond. and not thin, friendly and approachable, but did bite when tried to pick it up as couldn't think where he or she would live as so much traffic around that area? cat was decent size and solid black all over with no collar.
Other info:	hi, I was down riverside retail park at 6pm on 8/11/19 - has anyone lost a solid black short haired cat? I think it may have been male but it was so dark it was too hard to see, however it def. did not seem feral and was decent fairly solid stocky weight with reasonable coat, as he/was friendly and nuzzling near me went I bent down as looking in hedge at side of car park as if hungry, I was stroking it and own cats anyhow so tried to pick him/her up and then gotten bitten through my sleeve, which was surprised about as thought I could take it into pet place few hundred yards away and see if it was chipped as no collar. He seemed happy enough and didnt mind being stroked but not picked up at all! so as it was so dark not sure what else I could do? as no houses or gardens nearby. It was near Wilco/Next stores but far end of car park near hedges close to dual carriageway A45 side. No collar and just solid black cat, has anyone lost one??

Hi, was down riverside tonight. The same black cat was in the car park near Homebase. Friendly on approach but did not want to be picked up and ran away. Seems to be in okay condition but was sniffing the floor for scraps of food. Not sure how it got there but was dangerously close to moving cars
