Health: Healthy
Age: 8 years old
Sex: Unknown
Collar: No
Microchipped: Not sure
Other info: There is a cat stuck on the roof of numbers 1, 3, 5 & 7 Spruce Drive Bicester. Been there since early afternoon at least. RSPCA are not interested until it's been there for at least 24 hrs. Have left my velux window open with cat food balanced on it. It's crying pitifully but is too scared to come down. Houses are at the Hornbeam Rd turning off Southwold Lane, just inside the cycleway. Clear sky so it's getting very cold.

Finally after a lot of effort from RSPCA & Fire Service (2 ladders, 2 very long poles and a lot of patience!) Benny the cat was rescued at 16.30 this afternoon. Very cold, obviously after his night on the tiles but seemingly in good health. Seems he was first spotted at about 10am Saturday, poor thing. He was microchiped and Doug from RSPCA was going to contact the owners and take him home to Ravenscroft - which is approx 3 miles away so not sure how he ended up in Spruce Drive. We are just glad he is finally down from the roof, I had a bowl of cat food balanced on my open velux window all night and the neighbours had put ham on the roof to try and encourage him down. None of us could find anyone nearby with ladders which was a shame as there would have been several volunteers to go up. All's well that ends well!
