Circumstances:	Date is approximate; this cat has started coming to a place where we have been feeding another stray, and sharing her food. He (?) has been there consistently for at least two weeks.

Hello, yes, this cat has been scanned but isn't microchipped. In further information, we're now pretty sure it's a boy.

It turned out he was chipped after all -- my scanner somehow missed his chip. He went to Cats Protection, they found the chip, and he will presumably go back to his owner any moment now.
