Circumstances:	This cat visits my garden on and off and wanders into the house and gets on the sofa if the door is open.
Other info:	Very very thin and sometimes dishevelled. Drinks a lot of water

Who has this kitty now? It could be old and have medical issues if drinking a lot.

It may be that this is an elderly cat who has found somewhere to have a snooze but then goes home. They can look dishevelled and thin/thirsty is a big clue. Maybe put a paper collar on to let the owners know to get in touch?

This is our cat- we’re on fairacres backing on to swinburne. He’s been missing for two days - he’s very old - have you still seen him in your garden?

Oh no! Yes he (I thought it was a she!) has been here basically since turning up at about 10pm on Saturday looking very disheveled and muddy, I gave him a box in the lean to at the side of my house and then he kept coming back and eventually I posted on here and Next Door. I thought he must be a stray as no one replied and I thought he was starving as so thin. I couldn't keep him myslfl and I don't have a car so couldn't get him to the vet myself. Someone called Jo from Rose Hill came yesterday wanting to adopt him, and is taking him to the vet to see if he is microchipped. I can contact her and if you're OK with it I can give her your contact details. I am on Swinburne Rd so it makes sense he ended up here, he started coming at the end of May. I'm so sorry ! I was just worried because I am going away soon and didn't know what to do! my number is 07909680397 if you want to ring me I'm free after 10.

I was just the intermediary. The cat was taken to a shelter and the original owner made contact. I don't know what the end result was but the cat was very near the end of his life.
