Circumstances:	I was driving along the Oxford ringroad and spotted him/her. Very sadly, he/she was clearly deceased so he/she is still there.
Other info:	He/she looked small, maybe about 4-6 months old.

You can phone the local dog warden who will come out and collect the poor kitty. They will also be able to check for a microchip and contact the owners.

It's just heartbreaking ... some poor family will be wondering where their beloved cat is. Unfortunately the dog warden never called me back, so will try googling who on earth else to contact next.

I once reported I had a (LIVE) dog in my garden, it took the dog warden a few good hours to turn up. Checkout out "whycatsmatter" site.

Lucy-we saw the cat too. It was on Oliver Street. Rang Cats Protection who were going to try to find a volunteer to collect the cat, but I couldn't bear to leave him/her by the side of the road, especially knowing someone would be wondering where their cat was, so I took the poor wee kitty to vets so that they could scan for chip and notify owners. They hadn't made contact last I heard, but hopefully have by now.
