I had no calls from any owner despite putting the cat's details and photo on websites and on posters locally. I had the cat treated at the vet (eye operation), the vet confirmed there was no microchip and this cat was likely to be a stray. Since no one came forward for it I advertised on local websites for a new home and was told by the vet that after seven days at the vet it was ok to rehome. A very kind couple got in touch and wanted to adopt the cat. They had to meet the cat and speak to the vet and were deemed suitable, so they have now adopted the cat- I took them all home and the cat seemed very happy as did his new owners- a great outcome! Also, the new owners are staying in touch with us.
