Circumstances:	The cat was lying dead on the footpath midway down Cumnor Hill, on the right-hand side of the hill as you drive down. It had clearly been hit by a car and died instantly - it was sadly very, very damaged. We thought it might be our missing cat and took the body to the Oxford Cat Clinic; however, the vet confirmed it was not our cat. The clinic will hold the remains for 7 days if the owner comes to claim them.
Other info:	Sadly, we found a deceased long-haired ginger cat on Cumnor Hill (thanks to user "scoobydoo" for alerting us to this cat). The vet at the Oxford Cat Clinic estimates the cat to be 1 - 2 years old, no microchip, no collar. The Oxford Cat Clinic are holding the remains for 7 days in case the owners want to claim the cat.
