Name: Unknown
Breed & Species: Domestic short-haired cat
Colour: Tabby
SimpleColour:
Found: 6 years ago
(07 April 2018 at around 18:00hrs)
Location: Howard Street, Oxford OX4 3BG, UK
Health: Healthy
Age: 7 years old (approx)
Sex: Female
Collar: No
Microchipped: Not sure
Circumstances: The cat appeared in our back yard. We're familiar with the cats of our neighbors, but have never seen this one before. She was facing off with our cats and with the neighbors' cats. Later we brought our cats in, but instead of moving on the unfamiliar cat came in through our cat flap and basically camped out in our kitchen. She's friendly, quite tame and happy to have attention. But she doesn't seem to know where to go or want to leave.

Ahh bless her, can you get her checked for a chip? Presuming she doesn’t match any missing cats on here? Are you sure she is a she? Could be a neutered male, not that easy to tell apart, but deceiving when trying to find owner if gender is wrong-vet visit to check for a chip will clarify gender too!

I'm not 100% sure that the cat is female. This was my wife's opinion. Could be a neutered male. We're going to take him/her to the vet tomorrow to see if the cat is microchipped.

We took him to the vet to see if he was microchipped. He was. The vet called her owner, and they came immediately to pick her up.
