Circumstances:	Sooty used to live in Horspath, near Wheatley, but his owner recently passed away. We found him a new home in Kingston Road, Oxford, over 5 miles away, but unfortunately he escaped before he could bond with his new owner and settle in. He will be feeling very disorientated. He is a sweet-natured, shy cat but very loving once he gets to know you.

I have seen a stray male cat (unchipped) looking like this in Headington, but I first saw it on October 1st and this one disappeared on the 6th.

Thank you so much for letting me know, Sheila. Sooty went missing on the 6th though so I think that must be a different cat. There has been a possible sighting quite close to here so I am hoping he will turn up soon. Many thanks. 🙂
