Mira
Name: Mira
Breed & Species: Unknown cat
Colour: Black and light brown/ ginger
SimpleColour:
Went missing: 2 years ago
(14 July 2022 at around 12:00hrs)
Location: Saunders Road, Oxford OX4 2EF, UK
Health: Healthy
Age: 6 years old (approx)
Sex: Female
Collar: No
Microchipped: No
Markings: Her coat is black with light brown/ ginger flecked throughout. The bottom of her chin/ jaw is light brown and she has a larger area of light brown under her chin going into her chest. She has beautiful yellow eyes
Circumstances: The back door was open due to the heat and she wandered out unnoticed.Mira has always been an indoor cat and has never shown any interest in going outside before as she gets scared easily. My other cat is missing her and is showing signs of distress as they have been together since she was born( born 2 weeks apart from sisters)
Other info: She is very small and slim and looks younger. She barely ate for 2 days before she went missing so could be looking very skinny now.Though generally timid she can be extremely affectionate and aggressive with head nudges

The following may help... Put his used litter tray/favourite bed/toy (&/or contents of your vaccum) outside, they can smell it for miles & help them find their way home - your dirty laundry on the line - the smellier the socks the better!! Go out looking late at night & early morning - your voices (& theirs) will travel further. Knock on neighbours doors & ask them to let you look in garages/sheds as they'll be scared & may hide from the stranger but cry out to you. Also, where are their safe places - where they go in your house? Use those to help you think like that, do they hide in dark & low or up high? Get low under bushes, decking etc, get ladders & explore places that can be climbed Make a flyer & post it thru letter boxes Contact all the local Vets & rescues with the flyer (update them when found). https://www.bluecross.org.uk/advice/cat/what-to-do-if-your-cat-is-lost

She is home!! One of my other cats ran outside and when my daughter went out to bring him in Mira jumped into our garden.
