Have you put up posters (supplied by Animal Finders) on lamp-posts, mailed flyers in surrounding area, called local vets, council etc.

Hi Catz - thanks for your suggestions! I have informed all my neighbours in person so they look our for him and check their gardens and sheds. He is probably hiding in the gardens close by, but I can't find him (nor lure him out with his treats box..very usual!) Also to the local care home, car dealership and health centre as they have big car parks Jip might be hiding on. Also I've given flyers to people walking their dogs so that they keep a look out. Not gone for the full lamp-posting yet - though a neighbour has taken a flyer to the local vet and I have marked Jip as lost on his chip. Will put flyers up on the neighbouring streets later today though! I know it's not been THAT long that he is gone (am I maybe even worrying too much?), but it's just not something he has done before here and he did get into a bit of an argument with another cat that day so who knows what he got up to on the back of that! Thanks for your help! Mike

Got a text from someone who had Jip hanging around their house (about a mile away from my house) for a couple of days. They posted on a community website about him, leading to another user posting my phone number, which I suspect they must have got through an animalfinders alert. Thanks to Animalfinders and the kind people who looked out for my cat!
