Health: Healthy
Age: 21 years old
Sex: Neutered Male
Collar: No
Microchipped: Yes
Markings: Lots of faint light ginger/yellow stripes
Circumstances: Escaped from cat carrier on corner of Wilkins Rd and Fern Hill Rd. Ran into nearby garden on Fern Hill Road.

There is a cat that looks like this that practically lives in my garden, I am pretty sure he is a stray though, does Custard have a collar?

Hi Eva, thanks for your comment. No he doesn't wear a collar any more. He is microchipped but it is registered to a previous address unfortunately. He has a sibling that looks quite like him to the untrained eye.

Really important that you put up photo posters on lamp posts in the area that he went missing-as many as you can. Put flyers through letter boxes too. Someone will spot him and call.

Custard is still missing and we are very worried about him. There are a lot of ginger cats near us unfortunately and so there have been many sightings which have not been him. He is a fair size and has quite a small head. He is light ginger and doesn't have any swirls or distinctive markings just lots of light stripes all over his body. Am very concerned he may be in a garage or shed.

Do hope you've targeted the immediate area he went missing with posters, flyers and door knocked. You say he escaped from a cat-carrier, if he doesn't know the area he is most likely sheltering somewhere close by.

Yes we've done posters and flyers and even newer ones to keep up interest. People locally are well aware but also a lot are on holiday and maybe he's in their sheds. Thank you for your suggestions. ?? Just struggling a little as time goes on.

I work at Iffley vets and one of our clients has just bought in a stray ginger, neutered male. We scanned him sucessfully for a microchip and have contacted the chip company and phoned the numbers provided by them, and also emailed the address provided.

Sorry if raised your hopes, the owner of the ginger cat bought into our surgery has come forward - hopefully they will be reunited soon
