Totty returned home safe and well at 10:00pm Friday 12th February. He was hungry, thirsty and wanted lots of fussing. He'd had a little ordeal I think. Totty was born under a neighbours shed and spent the first 6 months on his life living as a feral cat in the wild. After months of encouragement we won him over and he's now a happy home-cat. Recently I've spotted an un-neutered male "tom" cat in my garden and suspect that he most likely scared Totty and disrupted his normal outdoor routine. This is a personal plea to all responsible cat owners...PLEASE get your cat (male or female neutered). An un-neutered male cat will often disappear for days, prowling neighbourhoods and crossing dangerously busy roads in search of un-neutered females. An un-neutered male will often attempt to take over an area and bully any other pet cats into submission. Horrific cat fights tend to be the outcome here often resulting in scratches and bites that can so easily lead to abscesses requiring veterinary treatment. A neutered cat is a happier and more homely cat.Thank you for your emails and sharing on your facebook pages.
