Health: Healthy
Age: 12 years old
Sex: Neutered Male
Collar: No
Microchipped: Yes
Circumstances: My husband and I were travelling from the Scottish Borders to the Highlands on October 26 and stopped at Killiekrankie Visitor centre for a quick break. Somehow Bertie managed to wriggle out of his harness and escaped into some trees. the immediate area has been searched several times and there is no sign of him at all. He may have wandered further away by now in search of food.

Bertie has been found ! Is now home safe and sound , thank you ! Closing report .

After circulating Bertie’s picture widely on social media and also printing and distributing the poster created by petsreunited, there were some sightings near where he was last seen. Someone was able to trap him and take him to a local vet . We retrieved him that day , he is home safe and sound
