Owners spent 6-7 hours a day walking the entire locality, retracing steps and increasing distance from home. Constantly calling our cats name and shaking a treats bag. We staggered search times, even going out for a couple of hours at 4am in the hope that our scent might help lead him home. He was found on the second visit to an abandoned church, at 9pm. We called his name and he came running through the undergrowth. He was very hungry, so we were glad we had the treats with us! He is now very scared of cars :( Not such a bad thing, though.
