This may seem like a long shot due to the considerable distance but the description does match my cat to the extent of the white patch below the neck. My cat was a neutered male kitten aged 8 months (though small for his age). He has gold or amber eyes and besides the front of the chest (below the neck) he has some patches of white elsewhere. He is also microchipped and registered to me. All vets should be able to scan him for a microchip for free. It could be that someone driving between our locations picked him up then let him out around where he was found or he got into the back of a goods vehicle that was enroute to where he was found.

Thanks for the reply. Sorry for any misunderstanding but the report does say "Not sure" for microchip, so that's why I asked about it.

It also matches the description of our missing cat too. Would you be able to take him/her to your local vet to check for a microchip? They check this free of charge and is the best way of hopefully reuniting him/her with the owner. Thanks for posting.
