This dog is owned by a totally irresponsible owner who informed me that if I had left it out on the road in the dark and the rain it would have found its way home. It's the second time in a week that it has been out on the road late at night and the second time someone has picked it up and gone to the trouble of having it scanned and then taking it back to this owner How many more times this has happened I hate to image. It is a very dark country lane. The dog has no ID in the shape of a collar etc and the owner should be cautioned about his irresponsibility.
