Do you know how long it's been around, he does look a lot like my Elvis who has been missing from Rainford in St Helens for 4 weeks. Elvis is microchipped and neutered

The RSPCA have not collected the cat because as I said, when my son rang them, they were not interested because the cat was not injured. We just reached a dead end with them.

Hi, sorry I missed read your comment, so it’s still wandering round near you. :( wish I lived closer as I’ve posted my friends lost cat on here, she lives on Monton Rd and it looks like Jasper, but I’m not sure what I can do. Not sure if any rescue centres would help more or cats protection,

Hi, Just seen the cat in my garden. I am more concerned for it now because it seems to have a larger stomach than when I last saw it. I am concerned it may be a she and pregnant, so not your friends cat if I am right.

I’d be shocked if it was a female, not sure if anyone near you could scan it, there’s a group on Facebook called lost cats in Salford and others. I’m in Preston so cannot come myself

My cat garfield went missing in September from Hurst cross ashton he could have got in a vehicle to hide out as he escaped while at cattery I was on holiday really want him back he is chipped my cat has long legs tall slim no white if this sounds like him plz get him chip checked

Is this cat still with you? I'm reviewing old Found Cat reports in the hope - however futile - that any of them will match my Joey, who's been missing for more than 3 1/2 years. Joey is registered with Pets Reunited, but wouldn't be picked up as far afield as Salford. If your foundling is still with you, could you have a look at Joey's Lost Cat report and let me know if your foundling bears even a remote resemblance to Joey. I grieve for him every day and am desperate to have him back. Thank you.

I am so sorry you have been without Joey for such a long time. I have not seen the cat I reported about in a while as I have been on shift work, but will keep an eye out. Hope Joey turns up x
