Circumstances:	This cat has been appearing from time to time in the rural lane where we live for 2-3 months. He is now coming to our place regularly in search of food but is very wary.

Once we manage to get close to the cat, we contacted Cats Protection League who lent us a microchip scanner and they were able to identify the owner. This cat wanders frequently apparently.
