LOST
Smudge
Name: Smudge
Breed & Species: Domestic long-haired cat
Colour: White with Brown
SimpleColour:
Went missing: 4 months ago
(26 July 2024 at around 09:00hrs)
Location: Queen's Avenue, London N21 3JF, UK
Health: Healthy
Age: 1 year old
Sex: Neutered Male
Collar: No
Microchipped: Yes
Markings: Small brown smudge on his nose
Circumstances: He would demand to go in the garden every morning despite being very skittish and darting in and out and always staying well within sight. I don't have a cat flap so he is primarily an indoor cat but allowed out of the window each morning between the hours of roughly 9am-11am. On Friday 26th July however, he left at around 9am and was gone almost instantly, it took me at least 20 minutes to notice because I trusted him, and I never heard or saw anything that would usually spook him, so I never looked. He never came running back in or out that morning.
Other info: Bushy tail and a slightly pointy nose

I am SO PLEASED to announce that yesterday Smudge has been found, after 113 days my boy is home!!! He somehow made his way all the way from Winchmore Hill to Chingford, just over 3 miles away. He was living in a garden and being fed by some people for the last 2 months, but I had been all the way to Chingford and put posters up which they saw. They contacted me and sent me photos of him and I knew instantly it was the moment I had been waiting for. My little boy is now home safe after 3 and a half months and he is SO happy and settled in straight away giving lots of cuddles. He is due a vet trip but for now he is setting in at home and I couldn't be happier!!!
