Circumstances:	He went outside late to do what he needed to, and didn't come back.
Other info:	Looks and acts youthful for a cat of his age.

I kept calling him and leaving things outside for him to pick up the scent, and he's found his way back home. I also kept the back door open so he could come straight in if I was asleep, and he walked in just after midnight, hungry and dirty, but otherwise okay. Thankyou to everyone who kept an eye out for him.
