LOST CAT: Tabby cat called Tillie - Southport area, Merseyside

I got speaking to some ladies on Tue 17th July when I was delivering missing posters and they said they had seen a small tabby cat that day by Cheltenham Way / Aintree Rd on the Kew estate. I've headed up that way most nights but haven't seen Tillie yet. I've also moved Tillie's outdoor house with blanket from the back garden and placed it at the front of my house with a bowl of biscuits inside - the food has been eaten the last 2 nights but it may not be by Tillie. I'm concious Oscar is also missing and he lives in Rivermeade which is a 5 minute walk from mine so I'm actively checking the front cat house on a regular basis just in case. I've only seen 3 cats on my fences in the 18 months I've lived here so food being eaten seems promising. Fingers crossed it may be either Tillie or Oscar

Someone contacted me having seen a 'missing poster' to say a similar looking cat was visiting them and their neighbour to eat food put down for hedgehogs. A photo confirmed the cat was Tillie so a trap was set the next day as he weather was changing for the worse and the cat was very frightened of people. The cat was caught and the microchip checked which confirmed the cat was Tillie. Tillie is now settled at home, eating loads and re-establishing her friendship with my other cats. Tillie was missing for 16 weeks and 1 day and looks great considering she was living rough in this time. Tillie has lost weight but was clean and healthy despite a few scuff marks on her nose and a wound on the underside of her paw which is healing well. Thank you.
