Please ask all the people nearby your house to find out if the owner is living nearby. Was s/he very hungry indeed? Is your cat neutered? If this cat isn’t neutered s/he may be looking for a mate? You could put a paper collar on, with just a note saying - if this is your cat please call me on ……….. as I need to know that this cat is not lost. Tape the ends of the paper collar only, not all the way round, for safety. If you have kept cat indoors or if cat doesn’t want to leave then you need to put up posters immediately.

What you should do first (if the cat is friendly) take her to the local vet to check if she is chipped. If she is the easiest way to find her owner. Please do not leave it too long. She may disappear from you. Then she will be missing. She is lucky enough to turn up in front of your house as you are trying. But again please don’t leave it to PetsReunited too long. Pick her up, take her to the vet,
