Please try leaving anything with a familiar smell, like your unwashed clothes, their litter tray or the hoover contents outside. They can smell it from up to a mile away and it can help them to find their way home. It is a good idea to swap the clothes out every 2-3 days to keep the scent fresh. x

Ask all neighbours to check their sheds/garages/decking in case they have been shut in/trapped; and leaflet/poster the area if you haven't already.

Go out calling him at night when it is quieter, starrting at the furthest away point to lead him home and not away. You are more able to hear each other then and, if he is hiding because he is lost, he is more likely to come out when it is quiet. Take a big torch with you too to reflect his eyes in the dark. x
