Hello, sorry if I’m uploading a comment you’ve seen lots of times already but if he has a neat little shaved patch on his leg he has almost certainly been seen by a vet very recently, possibly for neutering. It’s usual to microchip them at the same time so with any luck they’ll know precisely who he is and where he should be. Good luck!
