Confusing - if chipped, as it says in the report, the vet could have immediately informed the owners who would come along and collect? If the owner no longer wants the cat, hopefully a Rescue will take her. From her chip, it can be ascertained if her owners had her spayed. No repo

Thanks, the vet said that there is a chip but that it has not been registered. It means there is no way to locate the owners. We have tried this site, Facebook groups, posters, cat rescues and RSPCA. We really hope we can find her owners soon.

Oh dear . what a shame! It did seem a mystery and was not clear that this had happened on the PR report. I am wondering, and will look into, whether the chip number can be traced to whichever vet implanted the chip? All vets register the chip with the chip company. Looks like you will have to try to find a new home for her? Cats protection North Bham has a 'directs' scheme where she could be promoted. Google and under 'Cats for Adoption' there is another tab 'cats for the direct scheme' - I used to run the page but a new volunteer with CP has now taken it on. It is very successful.owhave page tere kevererop pn.

Finally accessed the chip after a week - got her back home safely. She was missing for 6 weeks when we found her.
