It might be worth looking on nextdoor. I think I saw a cat very similar to this due to the collar. The person had posted that if they couldn’t find the owner one of their family would have it. May have been described as very young but I got the impression it was. If I’m wrong then sorry but I saw the post earlier today

I have tried to find it again but it’s not easy on nextdoor. Maybe post on there and they might see it.

Hi, do you know which nextdoor group this was. Have you got the name of it? Thank you

I have posted him on nextdoor for you and directed anyone to this site in case it is the same cat. Hope it helps

Hi, No, sorry, I was just looking through the thread on Friday late morning. I noticed it because I’m in Streetly and I tend to notice four oaks and Sutton Coldfield cat posts. The cat pictured was q close up and it had a blue or green collar on. They said it was very young. But I looked for ages to see if I can find it and it’s not there. I lost mine and found that posting flyers in the roads near me bought him back. Put a few lamp posts but the bin men will probably remove them on bin day. I wish I could be more help. We also went into our local vets as most have a lost board in reception. Someone local may know the person who posted it and that they found a kitten. The person in the post made it clear that they had a family member who would have it if not claimed. I went through petsreunited when I lost mine and although that wasn’t what found him, the flyers, I think, helped and although it was a task I delivered what I had left after putting them in local shops and vets. I really hope you find him as I know how stressful and upsetting it is. If I do see it again I will certainly let you know

Also either keep reposting my post I have put on there or create your own post (stating that you are devastated as that may raise the conscience of the person) and keep reposting it often as the person that did post obviously uses nextdoor x

Ive just had another look and I can’t see it so maybe they took it down. But if your cat had that collar on or one very similar that was what the one in the pic was wearing. I do remember it was posted by a English female name, not in a group just on the normal home thread.
