A black cat visits us regularly and comes in the house to eat when we are not around. Lately we’ve found it sleeping in our kitchen. For a while it had a shaved tail as if it had had an operation. It looks quite skinny so I’m wondering if it’s a stray. Could this be your cat? I’ll try and take a photo next time I see it.

Hi, it could potentially be our cat! I’m not sure why he would have a shaved tail as it was fine when he went missing however it has been a while. Does the cat have little tufts coming out of his ears? Our cat was also fairly small in size, with a fluffy tail altho if it’s shaved I understand if you can’t tell. Thank you so much for contacting me and a photo would be amazing if you manage to get one.
