Chosen has come home, but is wearing a different collar to the one we put on her - we are going to re-check to see if she has been chipped in the time she was missing, but no contact information is on the collar and she still has the hernia of which we did have booked in for treatment and chipping 2 days after she dissapeared, and will now rebook - the sheen on her fur is gone as well, which to me is a sign of her not being well fed. She had an ID capsule on the collar we put on her but this has also been removed and no attempt of contact made to us. We will be attempting to reach out to those that put the new collar on her, but are now worried that there will be a dispute of ownership as we had the intention of taking her in, as she had been living in our garden and under neighbours decking for months prior to us moving in, and also had been with us for 2 months without issue before dissapearing and was unchipped during this time (we had taken her to vets and were booked in for hernia removal and chipping 2 days after she dissapeared) Nonetheless we are very relieved to know she is safe and sound, and doesn't appear to be in too much distress, though is looking a little unhealthier and is more skittish again. She is currently curled up sleeping happily in her spot at ours with her blanket and toys! We would like to thank PetsReunited for their service, it helped massively knowing that there was a higher chance of her being found.
