! OMG ! *** CHICKPEA is Home *** After 10 days and nights she was spotted by the wonderful Neil in our village just less than a mile from our house… He recognised her from the poster. This has been a disheartening, heartbreaking and rollercoaster time - I have to admit that I lost my conviction and belief that we would find her alive many times…. but it was the amazing community around us and beyond via FB that has kept us hopeful and reminded us continually to not give up… The messages of support really did keep us going! You put up with me calling early in the mornings and late at night. I flooded the streets and your letter boxes with posters. Your shares, support and encouragement were all so appreciated! I now know what it is like to spontaneously cry tears of joy - Thank you to each and everyone of you! She is unharmed, slimmer, lost her collar, won’t stop meowing (there’s a lot of adventures to tell me about) and wanting to eat for England (though I’m pacing her)…
