Location: Minstead, Lyndhurst, UK
Health: Healthy
Age:
Sex: Unknown
Collar: No
Microchipped: Not sure
Markings: Missing top of one ear
Circumstances: Started coming to our woodpile and sitting in the sun. Then started spending more and more time here, then ate the food we left out
Other info: This cat arrived last Spring. Since then it has eaten everything we have left for it, wet food, biscuits and milk. He/she must have good teeth and is not too old to be able to eat biscuits. We have adapated a shed for him/her to live in but won't come into the house as scared of our dogs. Will sit in the sun in the garden and we see this cat around all the time, but never near the dogs. At the beginning would not eat fish flavoured food but now eat anything! We have put worming powder in the food but still eats loads!

Clutching at straws but we lost two tabby cats at least two years ago! One has white feet. Both are microchipped and registered to us We are at the Minstead end of Pikes Hill. Removing the tip of the ear is commonly done in stray/feral cats to indicate they have been checked and neutered so I suspect it would have been checked at that stage.

Thanks BobRuss for your message. The cut off on the left ear also made us think he is a feral. If you want to watch our video of him, to see if he is one of yours, please text me your number. Thanks.

Turned out this is known to be a feral cat - tip of left ear cut off seems to indicate it is a neutered feral. Cat has semi-adopted us and we continue to feed him daily and provide him with shelter and a warm bed, although he does not want to live in the house with us.
