Reo will be re-united with his owners today (21st May 2019). After finding Reo on April 11th in Walthamstow, and then later taking him to a local vet to be scanned and have a health check, I was unable to locate his owners (Unfortunately the Microchip details were not up to date) I contacted many other local vets, Battersea, many other charities etc. but no luck. Reo was eventually found a lovely new home in the Cambridgeshire countryside through a friend of a friend. However....after a couple of weeks in his new home (and a new haircut to remove his very badly matted fur!) Reo's owners found me through the information on the website. Turns out Reo had gone missing on March 9th following some building works at his neighbours house. Although very sad for his new owner who was already very attached to him (but understands the situation for the owners), he will be picked up today by his owners and come back to his home in Walthamstow. Reo has had a big adventure these last few months, and clocked up many miles up and down the M11 !!, but will now be going home to his owners who have missed him very much. A very happy ending for a very lovely, friendly, beautiful cat!

Wow a big lesson in keeping your microchip up to date. We tell everyone to do this when their pet goes missing. Lucky to get him back. I hope the adopter found herself a lovely cat by now. Thank you.
