Lost cat: Black/white cat called Alan - Wantage area, Oxfordshire

Went missing:	12 years ago (30 June 2011 at around 07:00hrs)
Location:	Saxon Pl, Wantage, Oxfordshire OX12 9, UK
Health:	Healthy
Age:	20 years old
Sex:	Spayed Female
Collar:	Gold flea collar
Microchipped:	Yes
Markings:	White front feet and white collar shaped markings around teh neck and a rouns shape under tummy.
Circumstances:	Alan (she is a female cat… it was originally Mrs Alan) was fed in the morning as usual and didn't come home for her tea as she normally would. She is timid and afraid of loud noises, like the hoover. The field that joins our house/ garden was cut on the same day she was last seen. So there was a lot of unusual noise from the tractor etc. This may have frightened her enough to run and hide? However she virtually always came home at night and slept in the house and has never been away for this long before. We have only been living at our current address since the beginning of February and she therefore hasn’t experienced the tractor and machinery before. However she did appear to settle well at the new house and seemed very happy.
Other info:	She is rather timid and runs away from strangers.

Look on Gumtree. Someone has found a fluffy b/w cat in Wantage. There is a contact number but i would rather not put it out and about. I have emailed them and told them to advertise on this site just in case it is not Alan. Fingers crossed!

Thanks to everyone for looking out for Alan, but we're sad to report that Alan didn't make it. Following a tip from a local dog walker we found her in a field near her home. Our thoughts are with Holly at this difficult time.Nick
