I was walking to work monday morning about 5.40 am. And at the traffic lights just before the roundabout. By the old dairy. Unfortunately there was a cat that looked very like Muppet by the side of the road. Unfortunately there was nothing I could do. I called my partner to ask if he would come and pick the cat up and take it to the vets. As I needed to be at work. When he got there he said that the cat was not there anymore. I’m very sorry to be telling you this.

Thank you for the comments. We've had a good look around that area, but we can't find any trace of her. There is something in the middle of the road, but we're not even sure it's animal or not. It's not the news that we were hoping for, but the news that we half expected. We haven't given up hope completely, but as you say the cat you saw looked like Muppet and the location would fit into her night-time patterns. We'll keep our fingers crossed, but realistically, we're not hoping for a happy ending. Thank you for letting us know.

We suspect she was run over. But, no body or evidence was ever found. We are only going by one comment that was made on our lost cat report.
