So didn't the poster get back to you? who posted on nextdoor was trying to help as was I, sorry for getting your hopes up, but just matched your budgie. No way of knowing how long the poster has been on the tree.

They got back to me, but unfortunately it wasn't him. They said the budgie they had found was more white on its head. No don't be sorry! You did an amazing job by even letting me know, in fact it was extremely kind. Thank you for looking out for Tweety he means the world to me. He's still missing unfortunately but people like you give me hope.
