Hi there, Do you know how elderly this boy is please? We lost our boy in Eynsham in December 2010 and this looks very much like him! Bruno was a very friendly boy, tall and slim with a long tail. He has a small scar by his lip and a few white hairs on his chest. I will try and complete a report and add his picture. Many thanks Julia

Sorry I dont know. The vet said he was old, and he has “old” fur. He has a microchip, but the vet would not give an address because of the data protection. I am going to try them again tomorrow to see if they will contact the owners this time

Thanks so much for your reply. Bruno wasn’t microchipped, but he has been missing for so long that it is quite possible that he was taken in by someone and microchipped. It is a long shot, but it could possibly be our Bruno. We had his sister microchipped after he went missing and have our other cat chipped too - wish we had chipped Bruno. It broke our hearts when we lost him and we searched far and wide. There was heavy snow fall the night he went missing and although we found a trail in the snow, he literally just disappeared. We had posters everywhere and did visit the vet about a year after Bruno was lost, to see a found cat, but it wasn’t him. If he has a little scar by his lip, that would identify him. He was also quite vocal with a sort of cut off meow and an angular, almost oriental cat face.. I have added a report and pic now which is pending approval .

Have tried to look at his mouth, a little bit difficult to see but might be a bit scarry on lower jaw. Looks the same shape as your pic though. Come and have a look, have texted address to you
