LOST
Oscar
Name: Oscar
Breed & Species: Moggy (short haired) cat
Colour: Black & white
Went missing: 12 years ago
(29 April 2012 at around 22:00hrs)
Location: Wadard's Meadow, Witney, Oxfordshire OX28, UK
Health: Healthy
Age: 13 years old
Sex: Male
Collar: No
Microchipped: Not sure
Markings: White paws that look like boots. White band around his neck. Ears a little rough through disagreements with other cats.
Circumstances: At approximately 10pm I heard a noise which sounded like cats fighting and opened the bedroom window. A large Ginger cat was in our back garden and Oscar was fighting it off. I went down to the garden and the ginger cat ran off. I told Oscar to come in but he just sat by the cat flap guarding the house and then wandered out under the back gate; probaly looking for the other cat. We had a large thunder storm that night so it seems strange he didnt come back in. He has a sister and they are like clock work. He was not there in the morning (7.30am) for his breakfast and was not there for his tea and 6pm. Thats when we started looking for him. He is a friendly cat and would not be out of character for him to go into somebody's house even a car if it was open.

This looks very similar to a cat that has been visiting our close at intervals over the last 2 months, that we have nicknamed "Teddy". He is very friendly and has indeed come into our house once, but we don't encourage him and haven't fed him. His coat is a little dirty, but he looks well fed. I will try and get a better look at him and take a photo next time he is around - I haven't confirmed he is male since he growls when I lift his tail.

Hi, I photographed the cat I've seen today, and unfortunately it has black on it's nose so is not the same one.
