I saw a black cat fitting Poppy's description earlier this morning. I haven't seen a black cat around my house before so I noticed it. I live on Burwell Meadow and this cat was walking along the fence to the houses that are on the Burwell Drive (my house backs on to the houses on Burwell Drive). So not far - if this is her. I hope so.

Small, thin black cat (looked approx. 1. 5 years in age but could be older) persistently pestered me for food on 30/05/15 in Starnham Road, Ducklington. Cat sighted in garden several times over past week. Cat was wearing a mid-blue rubberised cat collar that quite loose - may have lost weight since first put on. Could be a local cat but reporting just in case your cat was lost wearing a blue collar

She wasnt wearing a collar, but she was chipped. If your stray appears homeless take her for a scan. Its always possible someone else put a collar on our poppy. She was timid but very friendly when she knows you.We always hope she will still turn up. Thank you anyway.
