Circumstances:	We went away for 4 days and someone shoved a parcel in the cat flap so he couldn't get back in. We came back on Sunday and haven't seen him.

That's really sad to hear. Who puts a parcel in the cat flap??? If its the Royal Mail or another carrier then definitely send them an angry letter. We found that putting up lots of posters and putting some through neigbours doors really helped and we had lots of people get in contact with some potential sightings. Good luck
